In the late afternoon at the beginning of April I was driving to Chicago from Detroit to shoot for the Chicago White Sox at their Home Opener. Thirty (30) minutes into my trip I began passing North Bay Park in Ypsilanti which borders the I-94 freeway. Many times I've past the park thinking I should shoot there one day. With the fog growing heavy as the sun was getting ready to set and spring storms rolling in I swerved over to the exit. It was an exciting side trip for multiple reasons. Even though this would delay my arrival into Chicago it was worth every moment.
